It will come as no surprise that London has the UK’s largest socioeconomic divide, as the most unequal region in the UK when it comes to household income. For those of us living outside the capital – and for the people on lower incomes who work there – it’s an impossible dream to imagine living prosperously within the city.
Incomprehensible is a campaign for social equality and affordable living in the form of visually ‘impossible’ typographic letterforms. This print-based project takes to London’s streets, reflecting the perspective of those people who can’t afford to live in the nation’s capital, communicating the sentiment right within at heart of the source.
