Chris won the original Proctor + Stevenson design awards in 1994, kick-starting his illustrious career. He joined the Proctors studio, working on projects for clients such as Canon and Hewlett Packard. After almost a decade, Chris moved on to build on his enviable working portfolio, taking roles at Thirteen, Mytton Williams, and finally Dyson, securing a role on the in-house creative team.
12 years on, Chris is responsible for managing and developing Dyson’s reputation worldwide, and has more than two decades of industry experience informing his design judgement.
Nema is a true authority on the fusion of science, tech and the arts. A member of Arts Council England (ACE), she has led small, large and million pound regional, national and international projects in the arts and technology, including London’s Creative Economy Programme.
A digital opportunity spotter and tireless supporter of new creative talent. Her organisation, Submerge, provides a platform for graduates, researchers and innovators to celebrate, network and promote their skills to industry, encouraging employment and entrepreneurialism.
When it comes to delivering flawless digital experiences and pioneering mobile apps, Paul is an expert, and was recently voted ‘Most Influential Figure’ by tech startups in the Tech Nation Report. At Elixel, he works with household-name financial institutions like Arvato Bertelsmann, and the world class Plymouth University.
Co-founder of the Digital Plymouth movement, Paul is also involved with Connected Plymouth, Digital Leadership and Tech South West in his mission to educate, inspire and share.
Seasoned digital media, marketing, and print expert, Dan is also a specialist in all things UX and UI design. His designs have featured in Europe, the USA, Japan, and the Middle East, for the likes of The Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, The Open University and Panasonic, to name a few. It’s Dan’s keen eye for detail which has seen him progress rapidly at P+S.
Student mentor and tireless champion of new design methods, Dan is always one step ahead of the digital industry’s ‘next big thing’.
Phil has worked with more than a few big names over the course of a fifteen-year career in the development industry: from Panasonic to Rathbones; Movember to Bath Rugby. Today, he heads up our front-end and back-end teams at Proctors, having helped build our digital offering from a three-person outfit to the award-winning team it is today.
An expert in taking superior user experience and beautifully designed visuals and translating them into technical solutions, Phil looks for innovation, creativity and ingenuity when it comes to front-end digital design work.
One of our 2019 SWDDS Awards winners, Emma, is still with Proctors today. She spends her days crafting beautiful animations, graphics and design for P+S and a few of our global clients too, including Panasonic, the Royal Navy and Fundamentals.
She secured the win with her beautifully illustrated vision for ‘Second Chance’: an app to help minimise household food waste through reuse tips and tricks. Emma’s work was an example of a topical subject which presented a commercially viable opportunity.
